Basketball Athletes: Do want to become a consistent shooter?

We often get a confused look on a basketball athlete's face when we say "A healthy shoulder girdle will make you a consistent shooter."  This often is an overlooked aspect of training and body maintenance.  Many basketball athletes don't have the flexibility in their shoulder girdle to have a consistent shooting motion or follow through.  Some complain of pain or tightness in the neck, shoulder, and upper back region between the shoulders which is the result of scar tissue or knots in your muscles that make up your shoulder girdle.
Doing the S.M.A.R.T STRETCH TECHNIQUE for your shoulder girdle before and training or game will improve your shooting.

Core training is an important part of overall strength training.  Your core connects your feet and your hands.  Without proper core training you can never reach your athletic potential.  Dr. Sanchez took the Danville Mustangs Soccer Team through a series of easy core exercises that everyone can do at home or anywhere for that matter.  Strengthen your core and you strengthen your game!

Exciting changes at U2SP

Visit our new website at www.up2speedsportsperformance.com

U2Sp has made significant strides in the last 4 to 6 months with the integration and success of U2SP Basketball Program in Hayward at the beautiful Chabot College campus. Justin Cardona is the Athletic Director for our basketball program and is doing a phenomenal job at putting it together. The Bay Area Filipino and Asian Community has embraced our brand of service and we have tremendous support from many individuals, families and local businesses. We only hope to continue to do the simple things right and be consistent at delivering the best service to the Bay Area communities. Visit U2SP Basketball at www.up2speedsports.com.

With the implementation of video for our U2SP Basketball program and video promos we have decided to create U2SPTV which will allow us to PodCast our events, various programs and showcase Bay Area talent.
We are mostly excited about developing and U2SP Sports Show and our new U2SP Blogs which will allow us to share the new and exciting training and rehab techniques that I have longed to share with the world. It is important to have a real, honest and sincere relationship with the people and communities that we serve. It is an honor to be in the position to make a difference in our community... change one athlete at a time... one life at a time.

Humbly,
Doc Sanchez
